Camp Information

 

Looking for a great new Summer Camp for you children? Do your children love animals and want to learn how to take care of them. Would they like to learn how to milk a goat? Maybe they would like to learn how to saddle a horse or how to care for an iguana.

 

Summer Camps will begin on June 11th, and we are now accepting registrations. Please fill out the Registration Form. Reservation request must be submitted through our website.

 

Full Day Camp
Hours:
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Before and After Hours Program:
8:00 am Early Drop off & 6:00 pm Late Pickup.

Ages: 8 - 16

 

Half Day Camp
Hours:
9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Ages: 5 - 10

 

Food: Students are asked to bring a bagged lunch and one snack daily.

Safety: All camp counselors and camp staff has been fully screened with background checks. Students and staff will wear ID badges at all times, and students will scan in and out when they leave our facilities.

Clothing: Jr ZooKeepers will be given one Zootastic tshirt FREE. This shirt is a specific color associated with their age group. Additional shirts can be purchased for $7. These shirts are to be worn everyday during camp. Students should wear pants or shorts and closed toed shoes that can get dirty.

 

Summer Camp Consist of the Following Daily:

- Daily Science Lesson in our Small Mammal and Reptile Learning Center

- Zookeeper Education

- Animal Interaction (Learning to: milk a goat, worm an animal, shoe a horse, care and handle reptiles)

- Recreation

- Craft and Animal Enrichment

 

Rain Policy: At Zootastic Park we have large barns and many of our facilities are out of the weather and under roof. Rain will not be a problem for the Jr Zookeeper Camp, please just make sure students are dressed appropriately with shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
